Too Busy To Draw?

Drawing is priority. You need it to stay sane. You REALLY only need a few minutes with your sketchbook and pen.
I promise you will feel calm and much better after this exercise.Let's do this together. Right now.

DRAW ALONG with me

I am invited for a Draw Along - not as a guest but as an artist. We’re kicking off the new year, drawing together, and chatting about creativity, plans and resolutions, and more.

Are you joining me on Wednesday, January 4?
Time: 11:30am (NYC time)

Drawing An Interior

For today's video, I recorded the process of drawing my living room.
While you watch the drawing process, you'll hear me talk about some of the obstacles we all meet when drawing an interior. I'll also address questions that I got from you here, from students, patrons and online followers.

You Need This Book

Today, upon request, I'll flip through the pages of my book Life Is Better When You Draw It.
It took me about 2 years to write, design and self-publish the book. And it sounds easy, but there's a LOT to figure out as an illustrator who temporarily takes on the role of an writerrand self-publishing author. Especially when you never self-published a book before.
So today I will be sharing the challenges, obstacles, highs and lows of the book making process.

Learning From YouTube Comments

On my own YouTube channel, I often get interesting questions in the comments - which I try to reply to timely and properly. I took some screenshots of the latest threads to share with you here. I hope you’ll find it useful.

Urban Sketching

When I went for a walk with my sketchbook in my bag, I realized that this might just be the last sunny fall opportunity for a drawing outside this year. So I decided to share the process with you.

CityTekenTrip Wintereditie - Maastricht!

Watersoluble Ink

Find a pen with watersoluble ink, like a fine liner or marker (I'm pretty sure you have one in your stash of art supplies!), use it to make a drawing. Then use a brush and water to play with diluting ink, adding shading and other fun bits.

Same But Different

Does it ever happen that you're ready to draw, you have your sketchbook open, you sip from the drink you poured yourself... and then you don't know WHAT to draw?
