Hi there, I’m Koosje!

pronounced "Kōsha”

I’m an artist and creative entrepreneur living in the Netherlands. I love drawing and I do it every day. On this website, I hope to inspire you to develop a drawing habit too, because it can make you feel good.

Too Busy To Draw?

Too Busy To Draw?

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday, and happy new year!

Do you ever get the feeling like you're running out of time? So many things to do and maybe a few too many priorities? You're running from one thing to the other and you can't even imagine you'd  have a single moment left to even open up your sketchbook. And there's nothing to draw anyway! Your thoughts keep escalating and it's frustrating.

Drawing is priority. You need it to stay sane. And yes, part of this video is sped up, but you REALLY only need a few minutes with your sketchbook and pen.
I promise you will feel calm and much better after this exercise.
Let's do this together. Right now.

Materials used in this video:
-Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook size A6
-Uniball Eye Rollerball pen, broad
-Caran d'Ache Luminance colored pencil
The artist friend I mentioned is Marcus McAllister - follow him on Instagram, his art is amazing: @marcus.mcallister.artist

My book "Life is better when you draw it" is available for you to purchase online.
I wrote the book for people who love drawing and need inspiration. It's about how drawing can make you happy and mindful. In the book, I share ways to embrace the daily sketchbook habit, tips, and lots of drawings from my sketchbooks.
