Get Inspired by Nature
February. The month in which we need to dodge Flu season (if you're in the northern hemisphere, like me), in which the days are dark, and winter seems endless. But luckily February also offers the promise of the first signs of spring, hinting at warmer days ahead after the chill of winter. And 2024 is a leap year. Congrats to those born on the 29th!
I don’t have big plans for February. I’m staying put, enjoying (and improving) my home and basking in the forest near it.
Nature is just so wonderful to be in, and I always feel refreshed and energised after a walk in the woods.
This is one of the reasons why I keep saying YES when I get invited again to teach my workshop "Drawing In The Wild", surrounded by nature.
The small-group art retreat takes place in Germany, May 27-30, when fresh leaves are growing and things start blooming again. It still feels a long time away, but in case you're interested: start planning now. Just yesterday, I received a call from Robin, our host, that three of the most popular tickets opened up!
At Waldecken10, I will be teaching you daily in and around the residence. We’ll be going into the nearby forest for walks, and our host Robin serves us nutritious and healthy meals three times a day.
Every day after lots of drawing, learning, playing, fresh air and relaxing (there’s a hot tub and a sauna!), you’ll be rolling into your bed in one of the rooms.
After announcing this workshop, the 1-person bedrooms were sold out in no time. The good news is that three one-person bedrooms just became available!
So what are you waiting for? Let’s go to Germany in May!
