Watercolor spattering
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Watercolor is such a versatile medium. It seems hard to control, but then when you play a lot with it, you'll get to know the material and its behavior better.
You'll get more confident using it in your sketchbook.
There's always some unpredictability when you use watercolors, but that's part of the fun, and it challenges you to be creative with whatever occurs on the paper.
Today I am showing you a couple of very simple technique to prepare background washes, on which you can draw.
I'm showing you watercolor spattering; wet on wet, and wet on dry. They both create completely different effects.
I'll also give you a very quick demo with the sword brush I am using today.
