Take a look at the cover of my upcoming book
Maybe you've already seen this on my Instagram account. You'll have seen it in my latest post on Patreon, if you're one of my Patrons.
Even if you've already seen it, I hope you're as excited as I am about this cover reveal of my upcoming book "Life is better when you draw (it)"!
There are many unknowns for me as a brand new self-publishing author, but I do know this:
1: Thanks to my friend Suzan Colon, the text in the book is very well professionally edited
2: The design fits perfectly to my drawings, my writing an me. Each time designer Tosca Lindeboom has sent me a new PDF of the adjusted design (and there were many, many versions!), it made me so very happy to see.
I mean - look at this cover!
Almost two years ago, I started taking first notes, thinking that maybe I could write a book. I enjoyed the process of writing, so I kept going.
After doing research about the publishing world, I decided to self-publish the book.
Writing a book is one thing, but publishing is another beast.
Since I've never done either of those before, I am taking it step by step, stumbling my way through, learning a lot.
What started as a vague idea has now become a thing!
The first printed proof of my book is currently on its way to my address. I am so excited!
It means that Tosca, Suzan and I are down to the very last round of proof reading and checking the look and feel of the book.
Soon, the book will be available for purchase online
Since I want the book to be available to people all over the world, it'll be sold online through online services like amazon and many others.
Make sure to subscribe to the special email list for those who’d like to get the latest news around my book so I can send you a link for purchasing soon!
