Hi there, I’m Koosje!

pronounced "Kōsha”

I’m an artist and creative entrepreneur living in the Netherlands. I love drawing and I do it every day. On this website, I hope to inspire you to develop a drawing practice too, because it can make you feel good.

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

I am taking a break in August, but I selected a bunch of videos from the archive this month.

Because I often get questions about the materials I use... here's a popular video from the archives.

Today I am showing you my favorite tools. Not because I think you should run to the store and get the same stuff, but because you asked. These are the things that found their way into my pencil case and stayed there. Of course I have tried many other tools, and I do swap out pens or pencils every so often, but these seem to be the evergreens. The deserted island things, you know?

Materials shown in this video:
-Lamy Safari fountain pennib B
-Platinum Carbon Black Ink
-Sailor fountain pen with Fude nib
-Pentel Pocket Brushpen
-Metal watercolor box (this one is from the brand GERSTAECKER)
-Daniel Smith watercolors
-Pentel Aquash waterbrush
-da Vinci Petit Gris Pur #10 brush
-Faber-Castell black colored pencil
-Caran d'Ache Luminance colored pencils
-Rainbow pencil (Koh-i-Noor and Lyra sell similar ones)
-Faber-Castell pencil sharpener with container
-Caran d'Ache Neocolor I wax crayons
-Delde stand-up pencil case
-Neo Critz stand-up pencil case
