Hi there, I’m Koosje!

pronounced "Kōsha”

I’m an artist and creative entrepreneur living in the Netherlands. I love drawing and I do it every day. On this website, I hope to inspire you to develop a drawing practice too, because it can make you feel good.

Drawing the same thing again

Drawing the same thing again

For me, drawing is the best way to empty my head, be in the moment, and to slow down and forget about everything else for a second.

I can’t even count how many times I have drawn this part of my living room but it never gets boring. There are so many ways to approach a subject, so many different art tools to draw with. But more importantly, I bring a different mood, feeling, and emotion with me every time I draw. That too, is captured and soaked into the page along with the ink and paint.

Materials used:
-Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook, size A4, landscape
-Sailor fountain pen with calligraphy nib, filled with Platinum Carbon Black ink
-Daniel Smith watercolors
-Pentel Aquash waterbrush
