Take Your Creative Vitamins!
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Prioritize what makes you happy. If drawing makes you happy, put your drawing time at the top of your list! You might think: "But I don't have any time during my busy days. And besides, I don't have anything to draw." In today's video, I'll prove you wrong and I'll show you how I make a fun, colorful and playful drawing of a very mundane subject, in just a few minutes.
By letting go of the idea that every drawing needs to be perfect and meaningful, you'll create the freedom to just enjoy the fact that you're making time for your creativity moment. This is exactly how I keep my daily drawing habit. I make time for what makes me happy.
Your assignment this week: Take 6 minutes, paint the overall shape of whatever is in front of you using a bright color, then draw on top of it using a contrasting bright color. If you need an extra challenge: use your non-dominant hand for parts of the process. Have fun!
