Sketchbook Tour
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Today, I'm sharing a small but significant sketchbook with you. I hope it's useful and/or inspiring.
Because I knew I'd have busy times ahead, when starting this sketchbook, I chose a small sized book. It felt accessible and it was easy to carry around as well. We were selling our apartment and preparing to move at the time, so the pages in this sketchbook hold memories of all that, and the last drawings of the oh so familiar living room and home that I've lived in for 13 years.
Even when I'm busy, I keep my drawing habit. I NEED to draw and to capture my life in such a creative way. It relaxes me, it gives me a meditative moment, it brings me back into the moment, and it's almost kind of like a gratitude journal. These are all reasons that make me want to make time for drawing. I know it's not easy to find time, or to make time in a busy day, but you can do it! You don't have to change your whole life to add a little habit like drawing, but DO make it a priority, because drawing makes you happy!
