How to Fill a Sketchbook Page (Without Overthinking!)
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Do you ever feel stuck when you open your sketchbook?
That blank page can feel intimidating, but here’s a simple way to push through that hesitation: just start drawing the same thing over and over again!
In today's video, I’m filling a double page in my sketchbook with tulips, drawing them in different angles and adding bold brush pen lines. This repetitive approach makes drawing more relaxing, playful, and meditative. Plus, it helps build confidence because you get more familiar with your subject as you go!
Join My Live Mini-Workshops! My online workshops are 90-minute drawing sessions where we sketch together in a fun and relaxed way. Suitable for all levels! If you can’t attend live, you’ll get access to the recording. Sign up here: https://www.koosjekoene.com/workshops

Your Sketchbook Assignment:
Grab your sketchbook and a pen.
Pick one simple object—like a fruit, coffee cup, or flower.
Draw it repeatedly across the page. Change angles, play with line weight, and don’t worry about perfection!
If you want, add shadows, and maybe some color to make the page pop.
By the end, you’ll have a full page and a huge sense of accomplishment!
