Drawing In A Café
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Let's step out and create some art in a café today! I frequently get questions about sketching people in a café (they tend to move around a lot, which can be challenging), capturing the ambiance and atmosphere, dealing with the attention of onlookers, and more. Today, I'm excited to demonstrate the entire process. I headed to a coffee shop, grabbed a sketchbook, and recorded the entire process from start to finish. I believe that by observing someone else draw and then trying it yourself (that's the key!), you can learn so much.
Are you participating yet in Drawing Bingo?
While I'm currently traveling and gearing up for a series of workshops in September, October, and early November, I stil want to get you going - and keep you going!
That's why I created a Drawing Bingo card just for you. You can get it here.
Cross off as many prompts on the bingo card as you can, aiming to complete one every day. I'll be here each week to offer that extra motivation to keep you going. Let's do this!
This video is quite lengthy, and you may have watched it before. I hope you watch it with different eyes now - you've grown as an artist since then! And that it inspires you to draw.
Enjoy!
