Drawing Greens - and Bingo!
Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
In my videos, I want to give you a nudge into that drawing habit of yours.
I draw every day, and it brings so much joy to my life! That's why I titled the book I wrote "Life is better when you draw it". It's an actual fact!
DRAWING BINGO!
While I'm currently traveling and gearing up for a series of workshops in September, October, and early November, I still want to get you going - and keep you going!
That's why I created a Drawing Bingo Card just for you.
You can get it through this link.
Here's how it works:
Cross off as many prompts on the bingo card as you can, aiming to complete one every day. I'll be here each week to offer that extra motivation to keep you going. Sound good? Let's go!
Today's video
On my part of the hemisphere, we're getting closer to fall. The trees are still full and green, but the color of the leaves are starting to turn. That's a great excuse to study greens and draw them.
In today's video which I hand picked for you from the archive, I'm showing you the many ways of capturing greens in your sketchbook. How do you capture greens in your sketchbook?Maybe you don't even need to use the color green. What?!
Your assignment today:
Draw greens. This can be trees, foliage, or both. Maybe you'd like to draw an urban scene with greens in it, or head into nature to capture textures, color and shapes.
Have fun, and don't forget to cross it off on your Bingo Card.
If you're sharing your art on social media, then please use the hashtag #kksdrawingbingo, so I can see what you made.
