Today I am sharing a video from the archives. Let's draw our non-drawing hand!
When I watch my videos from way back when, I cringe a little at hearing my voice-over and seeing the way I filmed things. However, I also appreciate how I have developed as a video maker, as an artist and as a teacher.
I'd like to encourage you to go through your own archives, and flip through the pages of an old sketchbook. More than the cringe-moment, you will appreciate the drawings you did. Acknowledge the fact that you've grown as an artist - and that you keep growing, as long as you keep going on your creative journey.
Isn't that just the best?
Don't compare your art with the art of others. They are at a different place in the journey.
If you do compare at all, then compare yourself to your earlier self, and learn!
