Hi there, I’m Koosje!

pronounced "Kōsha”

I’m an artist and creative entrepreneur living in the Netherlands. I love drawing and I do it every day. On this website, I hope to inspire you to develop a drawing habit too, because it can make you feel good.

Do something small to do something big

Do something small to do something big

I don’t even know exactly what to say about the current events in the world. I can’t even imagine how awful and scary it must be to leave everything behind, feeling completely unsafe and insecure about the future (near and far) and that of your family and friends.
That’s why, since many years, I set aside a monthly donation for charities that offer help to refugees. It’s the least I can do.

All the headlines scream ‘war’, and I have all the freedom in the world here, in my own safe bubble in Amsterdam. Just 2000 kilometers away from where that war is reality; I feel helpless, but let’s do what we can.

On Instagram, I have 31.1k followers. When I see that number, I almost go cross-eyed, because that’s a lot!
And so I figured, we all can do something small, to do something big together.

Even if you’re not on Instagram, you can join. If we would all give just one euro, together we could raise €31100 to donate to UNHCR for medical care, nutrition and accommodation for refugees and people in Ukraine.

I am using the donation platform JustGiving to raise money.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Because JustGiving is based in the UK, you need to select GBP for your currency if you’d rather pay with PayPal than credit or debit card.

Of course you can donate more than one euro if you want/can. All contributions help!
Let's do this together. I appreciate your help.
