Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Bushes, trees, flowers, petals, leaves, shrubbery… all the greens: How do we record all of what nature surrounds us with, in our sketchbook?
Maybe you don’t even need to use the color green.
Today I will show you examples from my sketchbooks to show you there is no one way to capture leaves, trees, bushes, flowers, and all the good stuff that nature surrounds us with.
As I mentioned in the video: I am writing a book about drawing, and currently trying to find a publisher for it. If you’d like to get an update about the progress every now and then, then leave your email address here: http://koosjekoene.com/stay-in-the-loop-about-my-book!
Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels. View all posts by Koosje Koene
