Koosje’s Killer Sketchbook Filler!

Posted by Koosje Koene in Draw Tip, sketchbook on April 22, 2020

New workshop coming up!

This Saturday, April 25, at noon Eastern Daylight Time, I am teaching a live online workshop.

During the workshop I will give you lots of tips and ideas, and we’ll be filling our sketchbook pages in a fast pace – with lots of drawing prompts and fun exercises.
In this workshop you’ll fill a blank sketchbook with 50 pages of drawing ideas! Apart from the exercises, we’ll also focus on a few techniques, and complete two full drawings. At the end of the workshop, you will have developed a personal creativity guide that you can return to later. You know I love to look at daily life things like an artist, and will inspire you to do the same,  so you never run out of ideas of what to draw.

Stop asking yourself “what should I draw?” and just get going!

Join me this Saturday for the 2-hour workshop! You can find all details and enroll at

Koosje Koene

Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels.
