Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Now that a lot of us have to stay at home, let’s make the best use of our time, and of our art supplies. Making art is proven to reduce stress, even if you don’t think you’re any good at it. If COVID-19 has you feeling stressed, anxious or lonely, let’s make some art, together.
Today: Brush Markers
I often carry a grey brush marker in my pen case, because it’s a great tool to quickly add shadow. Today I’ll do a drawing using a set of grey markers. Let’s draw.

Live Drawing Parties:
Every weekday, at 8AM EDT, which is 14:00 European time on Sketchbook Skool’s Instagram, I will be doing a live drawing session, making the most out of supplies and subject matter in your home. Watch it on a mobile device on Instagram @sketchbookskool.
Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels. View all posts by Koosje Koene
