Draw with me online
Each month, I host a 90-minute Mini-Workshop, live on Zoom.
If you ever attended one of my previous online Mini-Workshops, you know how fun it is to hang out, draw together, and learn from each other.
Fun exploring
The March Mini-workshop was about drawing random stuff in frames, making it look like there was a plan all along! Even if there wasn’t.
The shape and format of the panels challenges you to think about composition. The frames on the page make random subjects part of a “whole”, of your unique story. And when you are using color in a consistent way throughout the page, you’re bringing even more unity to the page.
Here’s the page I filled during the session. That also was the very last page in this amazing sketchbook, hand made by John Payne, who took my workshop last summer in the US, and gave me the beautiful sketchbook.
Materials used:
- Hand made Sketchbook, paper unknown
- Pilot Parallel pen, nib 1.5mm, the cartridge syringe filled with Platinum Carbon Black ink (water resistant)
- Daniel Smith watercolors
- Pentel Aquash waterbrush
