Today is the day! People Drawing People is starting at Sketchbook Skool!
Do I start like a broken record yet, if I tell you this kourse is SO awesome? Well, I can’t help myself – it really is.
The kourse is so different from any of the kourses we made so far at Sketchbook Skool, and I am just so freakin’ excited about it. We all want to draw people. There’s no subject more fascinating — or more challenging. And there are so many ways to draw people.
So we gathered 7 artists in a Brooklyn studio for a week, to have them do many drawing demos, covering all aspects of drawing people. From the basics of proportion, how to capture a likeness, how to draw a quick portrait or get really in-depth, adding tone and volume, how to deal with challenging angles and foreshortening, how to draw people in action, and much more.
Watch this great little film we shot behind the scenes, in which Felix draws with Jen, a Sketchbook Skool student.
This is a short version of one of the many videos that People Drawing People.

Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels. View all posts by Koosje Koene
