Posted by Koosje Koene in ArtJournal, Draw Tip, sketchbook on November 1, 2017

The days are getting shorter this month, and the temperatures are dropping… which gives us a great excuse to keep drawing! It’ll keep your hands warm and your head clear. So here’s this month’s list with drawing prompts in case you run out of ideas.
At Sketchbook Skool we have been sharing these monthly prompts to challenge you to draw every day, and to keep you drawing!

You can join this challenge for the month, or do it all year round. If you want to share your art, you can use the hashtags#sketchbookskool and #sbsadrawingaday on social media.

If you need more to get you into the daily drawing habit, check out the kourse that started the challenge, A Drawing A Day. In this four-week kourse, Sketchbook Skool fakulty member Veronica Lawlor takes you through the building blocks of drawing, with creative twists, exciting for both beginners and more skilled sketchers.ven seasoned sketchers will find exciting.

Koosje Koene

Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels.
