Kick-start your creative habit!
The Sketchbook Skool Kourse ‘A Drawing A Day’ is starting again in January. We ran this kourse last year to start off a very creative year, and I remember doing the first exercises on my vacation address in Thailand.
Below you can see a one-liner drawing I did for one of the assignments. It was SO much fun to get lost in all those shapes and pretty amazing how well it turned out!
The homework assignments in this kourse are very manageable and fun. Doing them every day, you can really see your own progress in loosening up, being more creative, less precious about the results, and well… very productive!
Ever since January, there’s a bunch of Sketchbook Skool students who have kept going and are aiming to have done 365 drawings by the end of 2017. The kourse certainly started them on their drawing habit, and kept them going!
A Drawing a Day is the perfect kourse to kick-start your creative year, guided by Illustrator, author and art instructor Veronica Lawlor. You’ll explore sketching techniques with a new focus each week!

Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels. View all posts by Koosje Koene
