Draw Tip Tuesday: Sketchbook Tour

Posted by Koosje Koene in ArtJournal, Draw Tip, Draw Tip Tuesday, sketchbook on November 21, 2017

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

I was going to do a tutorial on how to make a sketch collage, but for today’s Draw Tip Tuesday, I ended up explaining what I actually mean by making a sketch collage, showing a few pages in my sketchbook.

I learned this way to capture an overwhelming scene from Miguel Herranz. I’m a big fan of his art and if you don’t know him, check out his website and follow him on Instagram.

Next week, I’ll do a sketch collage of my studio. Stay tuned!

Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels.
