A Brand New Sketchbook Skool Kourse!

Posted by Koosje Koene in sketchbook on September 6, 2017

It’s been a while since I’ve taught a klass in Sketchbook Skool, and I am so excited that finally our brand new kourse ‘Imagining’ is here!

I have to admit it was quite a process to find the right angle and subject for my klass that kicks off this Kourse, but as always during a creative process, I found my way!  I came up with a klass in which I share personal experiences, show you things from my earlier years as a creative freelancer, and I’ll show you how to start a small project full of aha-moments and surprises. All by drawing from your mind.

And that’s just the start of the kourse! After that, 4 brilliant artists follow:-Ohn Mar Win shares personal stories and does a drawing demo in which she explores and discovers more and more with each pen stroke.

-Marloes de Vries tells you about her creative struggles and how she became a full-time illustrator. She’ll also give us great tips on how to draw a character and making comics.
-Stefan Bucher encourages us to do as many creative things as you like, and not just stick to the one thing you’re good at. The diversity will stretch your creativity and resourcefulness.
-Nina Johansson isn’t only a fantastic watercolorist and urban sketcher, she also creates fantastic black and white drawings from her imagination. And she teaches us how we can do that too.

Just watch this video below, and you’ll understand what I’m so excited about!

Are you joining me in ‘Imagining’? This 5-week kourse costs $99 and it starts September 18. Click here to enroll

Koosje Koene

Hi I'm Koosje. I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Amsterdam, where I was born and raised. I went to school to study graphic design, then worked for ten years as an award-winning professional photographer. But eventually my love of drawing and painting took over and I became an illustrator. My illustrations have been published in many Dutch magazines and in 2011, I began blogging and started developing and teaching online art classes. In 2014 I founded Sketchbook Skool, which is a flourishing community of artists from around the world of all skill levels.
